The first organic cafe in the country, it has a fantastic vegetarian/vegan menu and prides itself on using seasonal, organic ingredients. With an upstairs tearoom, child-friendly area and outside seating, it’s a great spot for people-watching with a coffee and cake.

Jolly Nice 🐾

It’s a short drive out of Stroud, but a trip to this converted petrol station is totally worth it. An award-winning farmshop with a great cafe and the best coffee in the area, it has a characterful yurt and plenty of outside space to eat, drink and spend an afternoon.

A small, yet perfectly formed little cafe set on a spacious campsite just outside Stroud, open lunchtimes. Mediterranean and Middle Eastern inspired food and great coffees and cakes - it’s worth the trip out!

Something of a Stroud institution, this characterful, popular pub is well worth the trek up the hill. Events-led and known as a great live music venue, there’s always something going on. It’s a ‘local’ for the whole town.
